The Invitrogen™ Collibri™ Library Quantification Kit is a highly accurate, ready-to-use qPCR-based solution designed for precise quantification of next-generation sequencing (NGS) libraries prepared for Illumina™ sequencing platforms. This kit enables reliable measurement of amplifiable library molecules, ensuring optimal library loading concentrations and maximizing sequencing efficiency and data quality.
The kit includes a Collibri Library Quantification Master Mix, powered by Platinum™ II Taq Hot Start DNA Polymerase, along with a ready-to-use library dilution buffer. The master mix contains all essential qPCR components—including adapter-specific primers, SYBR™ Green detection dye, passive reference dye, dNTPs, and optimized reaction buffer—eliminating the need for reagent preparation and simplifying workflow setup.
Designed for universal compatibility, the kit features a standardized passive reference dye concentration, allowing seamless use with all major real-time PCR instruments such as Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™, 7500 Fast, 7900HT, StepOne™, StepOnePlus™, and ViiA™ 7 systems. This ensures accurate and reproducible quantification across different qPCR platforms.
The included dilution buffer stabilizes sequencing libraries during dilution, preserving library integrity. Additionally, built-in visual tracking dyes—blue in the master mix and yellow in the dilution buffer—combine to produce a green reaction mixture, allowing easy visual confirmation of proper pipetting and reducing the risk of setup errors.
