Preparation
- Suspend 36 g of powder in 1 L distilled water
- Heat with agitation until fully dissolved
- Dispense into appropriate containers
- Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes
Test Procedure
- Pick an isolated colony from TSYEA or selective agar
- Inoculate into TSYEB broth
- Incubate at 25°C for 8–24 hours
- Observe for turbidity (growth indicator)
