The Invitrogen™ PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid Maxiprep Kit provides a reliable and efficient solution for purifying large-scale, transfection-grade plasmid DNA from E. coli. Using a patented anion-exchange resin, this kit delivers DNA purity equivalent to two cesium chloride gradient passes without the use of hazardous reagents such as phenol, chloroform, ethidium bromide, or CsCl.
Designed for 100–200 mL bacterial cultures, the kit yields 500–850 μg plasmid DNA (up to 1 mg under optimal conditions) in less than 2 hours. With low endotoxin levels (0.1–1 EU/µg) and high A260/A280 purity (>1.8), the resulting DNA is ideal for mammalian cell transfections and other sensitive applications.
