The Applied Biosystems™ TaqMan™ Arbovirus Triplex Kit is a lyophilized, multiplex, one-step real-time PCR assay designed for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of three clinically important arboviruses—Zika virus (ZIKV), Dengue virus (DENV1–4), and Chikungunya virus (CHIKV)—directly from human urine or serum samples.
Optimized for use with the Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™ 5 Real-Time PCR System, this kit is also compatible with the 7500, 7500 Fast, and other QuantStudio systems. It includes a human PPIA (cyclophilin A) primer-probe set to serve as an endogenous extraction and amplification control, ensuring the integrity and reliability of assay results.
The assay’s lyophilized format eliminates the need for cold chain management, enabling room temperature shipping and storage, making it ideal for field use and resource-limited settings.
