The Applied Biosystems™ HIV-1 Genotyping Kit with Integrase is a research-use molecular assay designed to detect and characterize drug resistance mutations (DRMs) within the protease (PR), reverse transcriptase (RT), and integrase (IN) regions of the HIV-1 pol gene. Covering codons 6–99 (PR), 1–251 (RT), and 1–288 (IN), the kit enables sequencing-based identification of resistance mutations associated with protease inhibitors (PI), nucleoside and non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTI, NNRTI), and integrase strand transfer inhibitors (INSTI).
