Thermo Scientific™ SnakeSkin™ Dialysis Tubing is a ready-to-use, pre-wetted, pleated regenerated-cellulose dialysis membrane designed for the rapid and efficient desalting and buffer exchange of large-volume samples (10–100 mL). Available in 3.5K, 7K, and 10K MWCO options, SnakeSkin Tubing offers the convenience of immediate use without the soaking and handling challenges of traditional dry, flattened dialysis membranes.
The pleated design makes the tubing easy to open and fill, while ensuring >90% protein recovery and typical dialysis completion in 4–6 hours. SnakeSkin Tubing is compatible with acids, bases, hydrophobic solvents, and alcohols, making it suitable for a wide range of biochemical and protein purification applications.
For secure closure, SnakeSkin Dialysis Tubing Clips (sold separately) provide a non-floating, durable seal that is autoclave-safe.
