Thermo Scientific™ TriTrack DNA Loading Dye (6X) is a ready-to-use loading buffer formulated to prepare DNA samples and molecular weight markers for gel electrophoresis. Designed for accurate sample tracking and improved gel performance, it contains a combination of three visible tracking dyes—bromophenol blue, xylene cyanol FF, and orange G—that migrate at distinct rates, allowing precise visualization of DNA migration throughout electrophoresis.
This 6X loading dye also contains glycerol, ensuring that samples sink evenly into wells, and EDTA, which chelates divalent metal ions to inhibit nuclease activity. The dye is compatible with both agarose and polyacrylamide gels and does not interfere with UV visualization of DNA after staining with ethidium bromide or other intercalating dyes.
