Liofilchem™ MTS™ Tedizolid TZD MIC Test Strips are precision antimicrobial susceptibility testing tools designed for the quantitative determination of the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) of Tedizolid against clinically relevant bacterial isolates. These strips utilize a predefined continuous gradient of Tedizolid concentrations ranging from 0.002 to 32 µg/mL, enabling accurate evaluation of bacterial susceptibility through the well-established gradient diffusion method.

Tedizolid is a next-generation oxazolidinone antibiotic widely used for the treatment of infections caused by Gram-positive organisms, including multidrug-resistant pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA), Enterococcus faecalis, and Enterococcus faecium. The Liofilchem MTS Tedizolid strips provide precise MIC values essential for guiding antimicrobial therapy decisions, monitoring resistance patterns, and supporting clinical microbiology and pharmaceutical research applications.

Each strip is manufactured from inert, non-toxic material and impregnated with a stable, calibrated antibiotic gradient. When applied to an inoculated agar plate, Tedizolid diffuses into the medium, forming an inhibition ellipse after incubation. The MIC value is directly read at the point where the inhibition ellipse intersects the calibrated scale on the strip, ensuring reliable and reproducible quantitative results.
