The Invitrogen™ PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid Miniprep Kit delivers rapid and efficient purification of high-quality, low-endotoxin plasmid DNA from E. coli cultures. Unlike traditional plasmid prep methods that require cesium chloride gradients or organic solvents, the HiPure kit uses a high-performance anion-exchange resin to provide plasmid DNA of exceptional purity in less than 2 hours.
The anion-exchange resin’s small, uniform particles enable purification equivalent to two CsCl gradient passes, eliminating contaminants such as proteins, RNA, and endotoxins. The result is DNA with A260/A280 > 1.8 and endotoxin levels of 0.1–1 EU/µg, making it ideal for sensitive downstream applications such as mammalian transfections.
