Red Fluorescent, Fixation-Compatible Viability Dye for Flow Cytometry
Fixable Viability Dye eFluor™ 660 is a red-excited amine-reactive dye designed for discriminating live and dead cells in flow cytometry workflows involving fixation and permeabilization. Unlike non-fixable viability dyes like 7-AAD or propidium iodide, eFluor™ 660 retains fluorescence after intracellular staining protocols, enabling consistent exclusion of dead cells in multiparameter analysis.
Excited by the 633 nm red laser, with peak emission at 660 nm, this dye is spectrally equivalent to APC and Alexa Fluor™ 647, and can be detected using a standard 660/20 bandpass filter.
