Thermo Scientific™ FastDigest Mph1103I is a fast and reliable restriction enzyme that recognizes the sequence 5′ ATGCA^T 3′ / 3′ T^ACGTA 5′, generating 3′ protruding ends. Optimized for use at 37 °C, it ensures complete DNA digestion in 5–15 minutes using the universal FastDigest Buffer system.
Part of the FastDigest™ enzyme portfolio, Mph1103I provides 100% activity in both FastDigest and FastDigest Green Buffers. This allows single, double, or multiple DNA digestions without buffer changes or additional DNA clean-up steps. Its optimized composition prevents star activity and supports direct downstream applications with DNA modifying enzymes, including T4 DNA Ligase, Klenow Fragment, T4 DNA Polymerase, and alkaline phosphatases.
