The COPAN eNAT® System is a ready-to-use collection, transport, and preservation device designed to stabilize microbial and human nucleic acids for downstream molecular applications. It enables rapid sample homogenization, nucleic acid stabilization, and pathogen inactivation—ensuring high-quality, unbiased DNA and RNA yields for accurate testing.
eNAT® medium is formulated with Guanidine thiocyanate and detergents to lyse cell membranes, inactivate nucleases, prevent bacterial proliferation, and stabilize nucleic acids from a broad range of microorganisms including Viruses, Bacteria, Chlamydia, Protozoa, and Mycoplasma.
Each eNAT® kit includes COPAN FLOQSwabs®, engineered for optimal specimen uptake and complete release, maximizing recovery even from low-volume samples. This combination offers unmatched performance across various anatomical sampling sites.
