Atom Scientific™ Neutral Red is a multifunctional biological dye used across a wide range of staining protocols. It stains lysosomes red and serves as a histological counterstain, a pH indicator, and a supravital stain. With a pH transition range from red to yellow (6.8–8.0), it is also suitable for inclusion in microbial and cell culture media. The dye binds well to acidic cell compartments and is often used in conjunction with Janus Green B to stain embryonal tissues and for supravital staining in blood analysis.
