Preparation Procedure
- Reconstitution:
- Aseptically dissolve the content of one vial of VITALEX Growth Supplement in 5 mL of VITALEX Growth Diluent.
- Shake gently to ensure complete dissolution without forming foam.
- Enrichment:
- Add the reconstituted solution to 500 mL of autoclaved and cooled (45–50°C) G.C. Medium (ref. 610022 or 620022).
- Mix thoroughly.
- Dispensing:
- Pour the enriched medium into sterile Petri dishes under aseptic conditions.
Applications
- Clinical Diagnostics:
- Enriches culture media for isolating Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Haemophilus parainfluenzae.
