Dual-Laser-Compatible Fixable Viability Dyes for Flow Cytometric Discrimination of Live and Dead Cells
The eBioscience™ Fixable Viability Dye eFluor™ 506/780 Sample Pack includes two spectrally distinct amine-reactive dyes—eFluor™ 506 and eFluor™ 780—designed for irreversible labeling of dead cells prior to fixation, permeabilization, or intracellular staining procedures in flow cytometry. These dyes provide a reliable method for dead cell exclusion, even after extensive sample processing.
eFluor™ 506 is excited by the violet (405 nm) laser and emits at 506 nm (AmCyan-equivalent), while eFluor™ 780 is excited by the red (633 nm) laser and emits at 780 nm (APC-eFluor™ 780/APC-Alexa Fluor™ 750 equivalent), making this kit ideal for multiparameter flow cytometry panels.
