Gibco™ TrypLE™ Select Enzyme (10X), No Phenol Red, is a highly pure, animal origin-free (AOF), recombinant enzyme designed for dissociation of a wide range of adherent mammalian cells. This 10X concentrated formulation offers convenience, flexibility, and superior performance compared to traditional trypsin-based dissociation reagents. It is gentle on cells, ensuring higher viability and reproducibility in cell culture workflows.
Key Features:
- Gentle on Cells:
- Maintains cell health by cleaving peptide bonds with minimal damage, supporting higher viability and reproducibility.
- Concentrated (10X):
- Can be diluted aseptically to a 1X working solution using a balanced salt solution containing 1 mM EDTA.
- Room-Temperature Stable:
- Remains stable for 24 months at 15–30°C, allowing flexible storage and handling.
- Animal Origin-Free (AOF):
- Manufactured on dedicated animal-free equipment, ensuring purity and suitability for regulatory-compliant workflows.
- No Phenol Red:
- Ideal for applications requiring phenol red-free conditions to avoid interference.
- Self-Inactivating:
- Inactivated by simple dilution, eliminating the need for trypsin inhibitors like FBS.
