The Human Immunoglobulin D (IgD) ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human IgD concentrations in serum, plasma, culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.
This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) provides high sensitivity and specificity for human IgD, enabling precise evaluation of humoral immune status in research studies.
The kit employs pre-coated microplate wells with an IgD-specific capture antibody and a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated detection antibody, allowing accurate quantification through optical density (OD) measurement at 450 nm.
Key Features
- High Sensitivity: Detection limit as low as 0.06 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.3–20 ng/mL.
- Accurate and Reproducible: Intra-assay CV < 10%, inter-assay CV < 12%.
- Flexible Format: Available in 96-test and 48-test configurations.
- Ready-to-Use Reagents: Includes all buffers, standards, and reagents required for complete assay performance.
- Wide Sample Compatibility: Suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, culture media, and other biological fluids.
- Validated Procedure: Based on standard sandwich ELISA principle with HRP/TMB colorimetric detection.
- Quality Control: Each kit lot is validated for sensitivity, linearity, and precision.
Principle of the Assay
This kit utilizes a sandwich-ELISA principle:
- Microplate wells pre-coated with an anti-human IgD antibody capture IgD in the sample.
- After washing, an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody binds to the captured IgD.
- Following substrate addition (TMB), color develops proportionally to the IgD concentration.
-
The reaction is terminated, and OD is measured at 450 nm.
The sample concentration is determined by comparing OD values to a standard calibration curve.
