Invitrogen™ Dynabeads™ Oligo(dT)25 are magnetic beads specifically designed to isolate mRNA directly from crude cell lysates, tissue, plant samples, or total RNA without the need for a total RNA purification step. By selectively binding polyadenylated (poly(A)+) RNA molecules, these beads deliver highly pure, intact mRNA suitable for downstream molecular biology workflows, including RT-PCR, cDNA synthesis, and transcriptome profiling.

Unlike column-based or spin filter methods, Dynabeads™ use magnetic separation to minimize RNA loss and shear stress, offering fast, gentle, and efficient mRNA purification. How It Works

  • Hybridization: Oligo(dT)25 on Dynabeads™ hybridizes with poly(A) tails of mRNA

  • Washing: Contaminants like rRNA, tRNA, DNA, and proteins are washed away
  • Elution or direct use: Purified mRNA can be eluted or used directly for cDNA synthesis
