The Invitrogen™ Ambion™ RNase Inhibitor is a highly potent recombinant ribonuclease inhibitor (RI) that effectively neutralizes pancreatic RNase A-type enzymes. Produced in E. coli and based on the human placental gene, this 50 kDa protein ensures superior RNA protection in workflows involving reverse transcription, RNA transcription, in vitro translation, and more.
By forming a tight 1:1 noncompetitive complex with target RNases, Ambion™ RNase Inhibitor safeguards RNA integrity even in environments with significant endogenous RNase activity. It is rigorously tested and free of RNase, DNase, exonuclease, endonuclease, and protease activity.
