Qualitative ELISA for the Detection of HIV in Human Serum, Plasma, and Biological Fluids
The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) ELISA Kit is a qualitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) designed for the detection of HIV antigens or antibodies in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, or other biological fluids. This assay is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
The assay employs a solid-phase enzyme immunoassay format, using a microplate pre-coated with HIV-specific antibodies. Positive and negative controls are included to ensure accurate result interpretation using a cutoff-based comparison of OD values.
