The Invitrogen™ Mini Gel Tank is a compact, vertical electrophoresis system designed for running mini-format protein gels with efficiency and ease. This advanced tank accommodates up to two gels per run, with each gel operated in an independently sealed chamber, allowing users the flexibility to run a single gel or two gels side-by-side with minimal buffer usage.
The system supports all Invitrogen pre-cast mini gels, including Bolt™ Bis-Tris Plus Gels and Novex™ Tris-Glycine Gels, as well as SureCast™ handcast gels. The transparent tank body and convenient front-loading design enhance visibility and simplify gel loading and monitoring.
In addition to electrophoresis, the Mini Gel Tank can be easily adapted for wet transfer applications when paired with the Mini Blot Module, enabling buffer-efficient blotting of up to two gels simultaneously using as little as 220 mL of transfer buffer per gel.
