Gibco™ Cell MAb Medium, animal component free

Gibco™ Cell MAb Medium, Animal Component Free is a complete, ready-to-use cell culture medium formulated for monoclonal antibody (mAb) production in mammalian cell systems. Free from animal-derived components, this medium contains L-glutamine and is supplemented with 0.3% Difco Select Soytone, a plant-based enzymatic digest of soy, providing essential peptides and nutrients for high cell viability and productivity.

Designed to meet the requirements of animal-free bioproduction, this medium excludes phenol red, Pluronic® F68 (Kolliphor® P188), and other surfactants, offering enhanced control for sensitive systems or downstream purification processes. It is best suited for suspension cultures but can also be used with adherent cell lines if attachment factors are supplemented separately.
