Thermo Scientific™ FastDigest™ EheI

Thermo Scientific™ FastDigest EheI is a high-quality restriction enzyme that recognizes the sequence 5′ GGC^GCC 3′ / 3′ CCG^CGG 5′, producing blunt ends. Optimized for rapid DNA digestion, FastDigest EheI achieves complete cleavage within 5–15 minutes at 37 °C using the universal FastDigest Buffer system.

As part of the FastDigest™ enzyme portfolio, EheI is fully compatible with both the FastDigest and FastDigest Green Buffers, eliminating the need for buffer changes in single, double, or multiple digestion reactions. Its optimized formulation prevents star activity and supports direct downstream workflows with DNA modifying enzymes such as T4 DNA Ligase, Klenow Fragment, T4 DNA Polymerase, and alkaline phosphatases.
