Thermo Scientific™ Pierce™ Sulfo-NHS is a water-soluble carbodiimide reaction enhancer used in bioconjugation to increase the efficiency and specificity of crosslinking between carboxyl (-COOH) and primary amine (-NH₂) groups. This reagent enables the creation of amine-reactive Sulfo-NHS esters when used in combination with EDC (1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide), a zero-length crosslinker.
