Invitrogen™ Countess™ Cell Counting Chamber Slides are disposable, dual-chambered microscope slides designed for use with Countess Automated Cell Counters. Each slide allows accurate cell counts and viability analysis using the trypan blue exclusion method, with no need for cleaning or reuse as with traditional hemocytometers.
Each slide contains two individually enclosed 10 μL chambers—allowing the user to process duplicate counts of one sample or two different samples. The counting volume of 0.4 μL corresponds to four 1 mm² squares on a hemocytometer, enabling precise and reproducible analysis in seconds. Countess Slides reduce contamination risks and save time in busy cell culture environments.
