Thermo Scientific™ FastDigest KflI is a rapid-acting restriction enzyme that recognizes the sequence 5′ GG^GWCCC 3′ / 3′ CCCWGG^G 5′, producing 5′ protruding ends. Optimized for use at 37 °C, it ensures complete digestion within 5–15 minutes using the universal FastDigest Buffer system.

As part of the FastDigest™ enzyme line, KflI is fully active in both the FastDigest and FastDigest Green Buffers, enabling single, double, or multiple digestions in one step without buffer changes. Its optimized formulation eliminates star activity and supports direct downstream workflows with DNA modifying enzymes, including T4 DNA Ligase, Klenow Fragment, T4 DNA Polymerase, and alkaline phosphatases.
