    Usage Guidelines

    Preparation

    1. Suspend 31.3 g of powder in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.
    2. Add 2.35 g of glycerol.
    3. Heat to boiling while stirring to ensure complete dissolution.
    4. Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes.
    5. Dispense into Petri dishes and allow to solidify.

    Technique

    1. Inoculate the medium with 0.1 ml of diluted sample.
    2. Spread the inoculum with a sterile spatula.
    3. Incubate at 30 ± 2°C for 18-72 hours.
    4. Observe for fungal growth.
