The Thermo Scientific™ Maxima H Minus First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit is a high-performance reverse transcription system designed for first-strand cDNA synthesis from RNA templates. It features the Maxima H Minus Reverse Transcriptase, a highly thermostable enzyme derived from MMLV RT via in vitro evolution. This enzyme is RNase H-deficient, allowing for synthesis of long, full-length cDNAs up to 20 kb, even from complex or GC-rich templates.
The kit is available in two configurations:
- Standard version (K1651 & K1652)
- With dsDNase (K1681 & K1682) – for integrated genomic DNA removal in a simplified one-tube workflow.
