Thermo Scientific™ SuperBlock™ Blocking Buffer is an optimized protein-based blocking solution designed for fast and effective blocking in ELISA, western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and membrane-based detection workflows. It contains a single purified glycoprotein that helps reduce nonspecific binding and improve signal-to-noise ratio across a wide range of assay systems.
SuperBlock™ Blocking Buffer is especially useful for blocking polystyrene microplates, membranes, and tissue samples. Its formulation is free from immunoglobulins, albumin, and endogenous biotin, making it suitable for applications involving streptavidin-biotin detection systems where traditional blockers may interfere.
Key Features
