Thermo Scientific™ ActivX™ Azido-FP Serine Hydrolase Probe is an activity-based fluorophosphonate probe designed for selective labeling of enzymatically active serine hydrolases. The probe contains a reactive fluorophosphonate (FP) group that covalently labels the active-site serine residue of functional serine hydrolases, together with an azido group for downstream detection or enrichment using phosphine- or alkyne-derivatized tags.
This probe is useful for profiling serine hydrolase activity in cells, lysates, tissues, subcellular fractions, and recombinant protein preparations. It supports workflows such as activity-based protein profiling, pull-down enrichment, Western blotting, chemiluminescent detection, fluorescent tagging, and LC-MS/MS-based proteomics.
