Rapid, high-purity restriction enzyme for GT^AC DNA cleavage in 5–15 minutes

The Thermo Scientific™ FastDigest RsaI restriction endonuclease recognizes the sequence GT^AC and cleaves between the T and A nucleotides, producing blunt ends. Optimized for use at 37°C in the universal FastDigest Buffer, this enzyme allows complete digestion within 5–15 minutes without the need for buffer changes or DNA clean-up steps.

Part of the FastDigest enzyme range, RsaI delivers 100% activity in both FastDigest and FastDigest Green Buffers, enabling rapid single, double, or multiple digestions. These buffers are fully compatible with downstream enzymes, allowing direct addition of DNA modifying enzymes such as T4 DNA Ligase, Klenow Fragment, and alkaline phosphatase without purification.
