The X-Pierce™ Sealing Film is a sterile, adhesive microplate sealing solution designed for automation, high-throughput screening, and pierceable applications. Engineered with an 89 μm thick vinyl base and an 18 μm pressure-sensitive adhesive, this film allows automated pipette tips and robotic probes to access samples without fouling or occlusion.

The film’s unique pre-cut X-shaped slits (hairline cuts) in each well position enable clean, self-resealing punctures. After sampling, the film reseals automatically to minimize sample evaporation and contamination, making it ideal for short-term storage, liquid handling, and PCR/qPCR workflows.
