Ultra-High Fidelity Polymerase for Demanding PCR Applications

Thermo Scientific™ Phusion™ High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase sets the standard in accurate, robust, and high-yield PCR amplification. With an error rate 50X lower than Taq and 6X lower than Pfu, it is ideal for cloning, sequencing, mutagenesis, and other applications where fidelity is critical.

This enzyme exhibits fast extension times (15–30 s/kb), excellent resistance to PCR inhibitors, and works effectively even on GC-rich or long templates (up to 20 kb). The polymerase is available in two buffer systems:

• Colorless buffer for fluorescence-based detection and downstream enzymatic reactions
• Green buffer with tracking dyes and density agents for direct gel loading
