Thermo Scientific™ Invitrogen™ TURBO™ DNase (2 U/µL)

TURBO DNase™ is a high-performance, recombinant DNase I enzyme engineered for superior DNA digestion efficiency, even in salt-rich environments. Developed via protein engineering, TURBO DNase has an enhanced DNA-binding pocket that confers 50× higher activity and 3.5× greater catalytic efficiency compared to wild-type DNase I. It is ideal for removing trace amounts of DNA from RNA preparations, particularly in RT-PCR and in vitro transcription workflows.

Unlike conventional DNase I derived from bovine sources, TURBO DNase is RNase-free and recombinant, making it exceptionally safe and reliable for RNA-sensitive applications.
