The Invitrogen™ iBind™ Flex Western Starter Kit includes everything needed to begin automated western blot processing with the iBind™ Flex Western Device. This all-in-one package contains the device, consumables, and reagents for immediate setup and operation.

The iBind™ Flex Western Device uses sequential lateral flow (SLF) technology to perform every step of the western blot protocol—from blocking to antibody incubations and washes—without requiring external power, shakers, or trays. Solutions are released from the device wells to an iBind™ Flex Card, which distributes them evenly over the membrane via a glass fiber matrix, ensuring uniform reagent flow and improved antigen–antibody interactions.

With three interchangeable well inserts, the iBind™ Flex can process one midi blot, two mini blots, or six vertically-cut strip blots per run, making it ideal for variable throughput requirements. Runs are completed in approximately 2.5 hours, with compatibility for chromogenic, chemiluminescent, and fluorescent detection on nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes.
