The Thermo Scientific™ 96-Well Rigid Semi-Skirted PCR Plate (Segmented) is engineered to provide enhanced rigidity and versatility for standard and real-time PCR workflows. Its semi-skirted design supports secure sealing and labeling (including optional barcoding) while maintaining compatibility with automation and thermal cycling platforms.

The plate features a patented segmented frame, allowing it to be cut cleanly into 24- or 48-well sections, ideal for scaled-down reactions or custom assay formats. Each well holds up to 0.3 mL of reaction volume (0.2 mL working volume) and is surrounded by a raised rim to enhance sealing and reduce cross-contamination and evaporation.

Constructed from high-quality polypropylene, the plate features thin, uniform walls for reliable and consistent heat transfer. The white variant is optimized for qPCR fluorescence sensitivity and signal stability.
