Procedure:
- Prepare Bacterial Suspension:
- Isolate the microorganism on selective agar (e.g., Baird Parker Agar, Vogel Johnson Agar).
- Suspend colonies in physiological solution to achieve 1-2 McFarland turbidity.
- Inoculate the System:
- Transfer 0.2 mL (4 drops) of bacterial suspension into each well.
- Add vaseline oil to wells 1-ADC and 2-UR.
- Place xylose and ribose discs in wells 10-XYL and 15-RIB.
- Incubate:
- Cover the system and incubate at 36 ± 1°C for 18-24 hours.
- Interpret Results:
- Add reagents to specific wells (e.g., VP and NIT tests).
- Note color changes and use the results to generate a 6-digit code.
- Identify the microorganism using the code number table.
Storage and Handling:
- Store at 2°C to 8°C in its original container.
- Avoid heat and excessive temperature fluctuations.
- Do not use beyond the labeled expiration date.
