Thermo Scientific™ Streptex™Latex Grouping Test, 50 Tests

The Thermo Scientific™ Streptex™ Latex Grouping Reagents are group-specific, ready-to-use latex agglutination reagents designed for the rapid identification of Streptococcus species according to the Lancefield classification system. These reagents are intended for use as supplementary components with the Streptex™ Latex Agglutination Test Kits (Catalog Numbers R30950501 and R30164701), allowing laboratories to perform targeted group identification of streptococcal isolates.

Each reagent consists of polystyrene latex particles coated with purified rabbit antibodies specific to one Lancefield group (A, B, C, D, F, or G). When mixed with a bacterial extract containing homologous antigen, the reagent produces a visible agglutination reaction, confirming the group identity of the streptococcal isolate.
