The BEHR Behrotest® Complete Soxhlet Extraction System is a robust and reliable setup for classical Soxhlet and fat extraction procedures. This compact, high-performance system includes a 500 mL extractor, 1000 mL round-bottom flask, and a durable titanium condenser, providing efficient solvent recovery and excellent reproducibility for laboratory applications.
The system is designed for user convenience, featuring a continuously variable heating mantle with an integrated magnetic stirrer for uniform heating and mixing. Extractors with specially developed “Böckerhoff” lifting tubes ensure homogeneous extraction results across all sample locations.
With the integration of behr hydrolysis units, acid digestion can be performed prior to extraction—ideal for determining total fat content according to the Weibull and Stoldt method.
The F-model variant (KEX 500 F/TK) includes a stopcock extractor, eliminating the need for additional distillation after extraction. Both models come complete with reaction vessels, extraction spacers, condensers, and a practical stand for secure condenser and adapter placement between extractions.
