Invitrogen™ BSA, acetylated (20 mg/mL), 6 x 25 mg

Ambion® Acetylated BSA is a highly purified, nuclease- and protease-free form of bovine serum albumin used primarily as a carrier protein and enzyme stabilizer in molecular biology applications. This specialized form of BSA undergoes acetylation to eliminate any residual nuclease activity, making it ideal for applications where RNA and DNA integrity is critical.

Acetylated BSA is particularly useful in restriction digests and other sensitive enzymatic reactions, but it is not suitable for PCR, as acetylation alters BSA’s binding properties and inhibits amplification reactions. Supplied in six tubes (each containing 25 mg of BSA at 20 mg/mL), this reagent is ready for direct use in standard workflows.
