Test Procedure
- Prepare Inoculum:
- Use freshly grown Mycobacterium tuberculosis from Middlebrook 7H9 Broth.
- Inoculate Media:
- Inoculate drug-free control (Middlebrook 7H11 Agar) alongside drug-containing media.
- Incubation:
- Shield plates and tubes from light.
- Incubate at 37 ± 1°C in 5-10% CO₂ for up to 3 weeks.
- Observation:
- Monitor weekly for growth and interpret results following CLSI/CDC guidelines.
