Uniform Surface Illumination for v-PCR and Gel Visualization
The Glo-Plate™ 2.0 Blue LED Illuminator by Biotium is a flat-panel, high-performance LED light box designed for uniform photolysis of PMAxx™– or PMA-treated samples in viability PCR (v-PCR) workflows. It provides even illumination across clear microplates, 15 mL or 50 mL conical tubes, and transparent vessels, accommodating larger sample formats that traditional tube-based systems cannot.
Additionally, this illuminator serves as an ideal platform for developing DNAzure® Blue Nucleic Acid Gel Stain, supporting direct visualization and excision of DNA bands from gels. The updated 2.0 design introduces a touch screen interface for user-friendly operation.
