Applied Biosystems™ Dynabeads™ anti-Salmonella are designed for selective enrichment and isolation of Salmonella spp. from food, fecal, water, and other complex samples using ImmunoMagnetic Separation (IMS). These superparamagnetic beads are coated with anti-Salmonella antibodies, allowing rapid and efficient target capture during or after pre-enrichment. The protocol can be performed manually or automated using the KingFisher™ mL Food Protection Purification System.
The reagent offers high sensitivity, enabling detection of as few as 1 viable organism in 25 g of sample or 100 organisms/mL post enrichment, making it suitable for regulatory and research-level food safety screening.
