The Invitrogen™ T-REx™-HeLa Cell Line is a stably transfected human cell line that constitutively expresses the tetracycline repressor protein (TetR). It is specifically designed for use with the T-REx™ System, enabling tightly regulated, tetracycline-inducible expression of genes of interest.

This system provides very low basal expression in the repressed state and robust gene induction upon tetracycline addition, ensuring precise control of gene expression studies. Each T-REx™ Cell Line is functionally validated by transient transfection with the pcDNA™4/TO/lacZ positive control vector.
