Principle of Operation
The UV Clave™ uses short-wave ultraviolet light (254 nm UVC) to inactivate nucleic acids and microorganisms by inducing irreversible damage to DNA and RNA. This prevents amplification of contaminating genetic material and reduces false positives in PCR-based assays.
