The Invitrogen™ PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid FP Maxiprep Kit delivers a complete, centrifugation-free workflow for the isolation of ultrapure, transfection-grade plasmid DNA from E. coli cultures. Using integrated HiPure Filter Columns and HiPure Precipitator modules, this kit enables users to go from cell pellet to purified DNA in as little as one hour, eliminating common bottlenecks such as centrifugation and pellet handling.

With yields of up to 850–1,000 μg plasmid DNA, the kit provides DNA purity equivalent to two cesium chloride gradient passes, making it suitable for demanding downstream applications including mammalian cell transfection, sequencing, cloning, and in vitro transcription.

Key Features

  • Fast Workflow – From bacterial pellet to ultrapure plasmid DNA in ~60 minutes.
  • Centrifugation-Free – Filtration and precipitation steps replace centrifugation, reducing sample loss.
  • High Yield – Up to 850–1,000 μg plasmid DNA from high-copy plasmids.
  • Transfection-Grade Purity – DNA quality comparable to CsCl gradients, free from RNA, protein, and other contaminants.
  • Flexible DNA Concentration – Precipitator modules allow elution volumes as low as 500 μL, producing concentrated DNA without yield loss.
  • Reliable & Safe – No hazardous reagents such as phenol, chloroform, or ethidium bromide.

Applications

  • Mammalian cell transfections requiring high-purity plasmid DNA.
  • Sequencing and cloning workflows.
  • PCR amplification and in vitro transcription.
  • Bacterial transformation.
  • Restriction enzyme digestion and nucleic acid labeling.
