The Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Secondary Antibody, HRP is an affinity-purified, HRP-conjugated polyclonal antibody optimized for Western Blot (WB), ELISA, IHC (P), and Immunoprecipitation (IP).
It reacts with the heavy chains of mouse IgG and the light chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins, ensuring broad secondary detection coverage while maintaining low cross-reactivity with non-Ig serum proteins.
This reagent has been validated in >2,700 publications and 84 figures, providing exceptional reliability and sensitivity for colorimetric or chemiluminescent HRP detection systems.
Key Features
- High Specificity: Recognizes mouse IgG heavy and light chains; minimal reactivity with non-Ig serum proteins.
- Robust HRP Conjugation: Delivers clear, high-intensity signal for colorimetric or ECL detection.
- Wide Assay Compatibility: Validated for WB, ELISA, IHC (P), and IP applications.
- Affinity-Purified: Reduces background for strong, reproducible results.
- Flexible Dilution Range: Broad dynamic detection (1:5,000–1:200,000 for WB).
- Lyophilized Format: Ensures long shelf life and shipping stability.
- Validated Performance: Tested lot-to-lot by ELISA and Immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
Applications
| Application | Recommended Dilution Range |
|---|---|
| Western Blot (WB) | 1:5,000 – 1:200,000 |
| ELISA (Indirect/Sandwich) | 1:10,000 – 1:25,000 |
| Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) | Assay-dependent |
| Immunoprecipitation (IP) | 1:500 – 1:5,000 |
Validated Example: Chemiluminescent Western Blot analysis of U-87 MG, SH-SY5Y, HeLa, and Hep G2 cell lysates shows specific detection of mouse IgG bands with minimal background signal.
