Preparation

- Heat to boiling until fully dissolved
- Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes

- Melt in water bath at 100°C
- Cool to 45–50°C, mix gently, and pour into Petri dishes
Test Procedure
- Streak suspect colonies from selective media (e.g., Oxford or PALCAM agar)
- Incubate at 37°C for 18–24 hours under aerobic conditions
- Observe colony morphology
