Gibco™ Hybridoma-SFM, Powder is a serum-free, very low-protein dry format medium specifically developed to support the robust growth and antibody production of hybridomas and recombinant myeloma cell lines. Upon reconstitution, it becomes a complete, ready-to-use medium that supports both stationary and suspension cultures, including cholesterol-dependent lines such as NS0 (when supplemented with 250× Cholesterol Lipid Concentrate).
With a total protein content of less than 20 μg/mL, this formulation simplifies downstream purification of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), making it ideal for both research and preclinical biomanufacturing. It contains L-glutamine and requires no additional supplementation post-reconstitution.
Manufactured in a cGMP-compliant, ISO 13485-certified facility in Grand Island, NY, this product is eligible for FDA regulatory submissions via a Type II Drug Master File (DMF).
