Pierce™ Streptavidin Magnetic Beads are uniform, superparamagnetic microparticles designed for rapid and efficient capture of biotinylated molecules in both manual and high-throughput workflows. Engineered with recombinant streptavidin covalently attached via leach-resistant chemistry, these beads ensure stable biotin binding, high specificity, and minimal background—making them ideal for pull-down assays, co-immunoprecipitations, and DNA-protein interaction studies.

The beads are pre-blocked to prevent nonspecific interactions and offer nearly three times the biotin-binding capacity of conventional streptavidin beads, reducing reagent usage and improving signal clarity. They are validated for use with automated magnetic instruments, including Thermo Scientific KingFisher™ 96 and Flex Systems, as well as standard magnetic racks for benchtop use.
